Job Description

The grocery stocker ensures shelves are full and organized with products, maintaining a visually appealing and easily accessible shopping environment.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Ensures consistent, efficient, pleasant customer experiences.
• Continually seeks merchandising techniques to maximize sales in the Grocery department.
• Responsible for receiving, unloading, and stocking merchandise, rotating products for freshness, and keeping the store clean and tidy. They also assist customers with locating items and may handle basic cashier duties.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness, and attractiveness of the store backroom and aisles.
• Assist with inventory as needed.
• May operate power equipment for stocking and moving merchandise.
• Performs other related duties as required.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
• Must be able to traverse and access all areas of the supermarket
